DC Stix builds custom fishing rods for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. We specialize in building rods for most freshwater fish and inshore species, but will work with you to build the exact rod that you are looking for.  Whether you know exactly what you want, or need some help making decisions, we are here to help!
This site has numerous options shown, but the possibilities are endless and it would be impossible to show every combination available.  These rods are meant to be custom which means you pick the pieces you want to use.

Building your rod starts with the blank.  The blank can be from almost any manufacturer out there, including, but not limited too MHX, St. Croix, Bushido, Rainshadow, American Tackle, Matrix, and so many more.  Please note, the type of blank will be the biggest factor in pricing.
The next decision to make is the grip type and style.  This is typically personal preference, but can also be determined based on the technique you plan to use the rod for.  The grip is in your hands at all times so you want to make sure it is comfortable.
From there, we will pick out the guides and personalize the rod.  You have options for different wrapping styles, decals, and other personal touches.
